The first article uses attachment theory as a framework for understanding and intervening with male toddlers and their mothers in the aftermath of the child's having witnessed domestic violence. Another article presents an expanded view of the assessment of violent couples to include couple dynamics during nonviolent periods, followed by an article that describes and advocates a sequential approach to the treatment of domestic abuse with group intervention strategies. An article describes Minnesota's experience in developing a statewide network of battered women's programs, almost half of which are located in rural areas.
