Abstract
FROM THE TIME OF THE INITIAL REPORT OF SNIPER FIRE, THE FOLLOWING STEPS ARE RECOMMENDED: SEAL OFF THE AREA, DISPATCH TACTICAL UNIT AND EQUIPMENT TO THE SCENE, SECURE AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE ON THE LOCATION AND OPERATION OF THE SNIPER, AND DEPLOY THE SQUAD INTO THE SEALED OFF AREA OR BUILDING TO APPREHEND OR DESTROY THE SNIPER AND RECOVER THE WEAPONS BEING USED.
