Abstract: The statistical report is organized by province. Within each province, municipal police forces are grouped by one of nine population ranges and municipalities within each group are listed alphabetically. Population and police personnel and expenditure data are tabulated for each municipal police force. Municipal population figures are derived from official Census data. Police personnel strength data reflect actual strength as of September 1994 and include only sworn police officers, but data are also provided on civilian police personnel.
