The papers cover theoretical perspectives as well as empirical findings from the United States, Australia, Brazil, Great Britain, India, Italy, and New Zealand. Individual papers focus on the rationale and main focal areas of feminist criminology, perspectives on female offenders, issues related to sexism, the history of attitudes toward female offenders, court processing of prostitutes, and infanticide.
