Each topical section of the report is organized around a discussion of major trends, 1990 statistics, major findings, and focus questions. Specific report topics pertain to jail inmates, population growth in the correctional system, reportable incidents in local correctional facilities, training in local corrections, fatalities in the correctional system, and complaints and grievances in the correctional system.
