Accomplishments of the Judicial Branch are noted, particularly with respect to dealing with heavy court caseloads and the juvenile court system. Judicial initiatives are identified that focus on child placement proceedings, the Family Courts Commission, the Commission on Racial and Ethnic Bias, the Committee on Substance Abuse and the Courts, the Georgia Courts Automation Commission, and the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
