This document presents summary information on task force operations and activities for the federally funded years 1987 and 1988.
Abstract
Task force data in this document were obtained from Individual Case Reports, Quarterly Reports, and Annual Project Reports. A summary of an opinion survey of law enforcement agency directors and staff conducted in the spring of 1990 is also included. Idaho's 15 multijurisdictional task forces cover 77,129 square miles and a population of 983,200. Individual Task Force Case Data, presented by county/city, include: (1) Case Load; (2) Amounts of Drugs Seized in Grams; and (3) Total Arrests and Arrests for Possession, Distribution/Sale, and Cultivation/Manufacture of Cannabis, Cocaine, and Amphetamines. Anti-Drug Abuse Survey Results discuss: Task Force Goals; Drug Availability; Multijurisdictional/Inter-Agency Cooperation; Prosecution/Court System; and Seizure and Forfeiture. Other statistics concerning arrest totals, arrests and convictions by offense, expenditures, funding, and demographics are presented in eight charts and six tables. Appendixes
