Legislative initiatives address an increase in judicial staffing, a bill to facilitate the keeping of in-court records on video, the regulation of commercial bail bond sureties, guardians ad litem, municipal justice court judges, and justice court jurisdiction. Following the 1998 budget proposal, court-level reports present caseload data for the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the district court, the juvenile court, and the justice court. Case filings are shown by type of case for each of the years 1992-96. Program highlights are also summarized for each court level. Trial court caseload data are presented by type of court and type of case, both criminal and civil. Photographs show the course of construction for the new Scott M.
