Another chapter provides biographical sketches of individuals who have played or are currently playing key roles in the area of childhood sexual abuse, followed by a chapter that provides statistical information on the prevalence and incidence of child sexual abuse, as well as excerpts from Federal laws and U.S. Supreme Court decisions in this area. The book also provides a directory of private and public organizations, associations, and government agencies that are involved in treating children who have been sexually abused, as well as those that treat offenders.
