This document presents information and reports on the audio/video court recording systems that the company Court Vision Communications, Inc. provides, integrates into existing technology, and supports through training and service.
Abstract
The company supplies the system designed by Dolman Technologies. The system includes a patented Audio Video Processor, as well as an efficient logging method. Remote diagnostic service is available to any courtroom using the technology. The system is available in voice-activated full-screen format or in continuous multiple picture-window display. A report from the director of information services for the Utah State Court System estimates that the State will save about $166,300 per courtroom over 5 years by using video trials even after paying the estimated $45,000 per courtroom cost of installing each video trial system. Additional materials describe and illustrate the system's technical features and present the court log operations manual. Illustrations
