The author recounts his experiences with community policing as a law enforcement official. He notes some of his best memories of policing involved extensive dealings with community residents, particularly in the community of Rogersville, New Brunswick. He became involved in scouting and years later organized a reunion in Rogersville to share memories of earlier experiences. The author believes his 3 years of service in Rogersville made a difference among the young people, and he derived a great deal of professional satisfaction from the time he spent in that community. 5 photographs
