This volume presents information on more than 300 topics related to gun rights and gun control, with emphasis on current issues as well as historical events and persons, and opinions on both sides of the debate about gun control.
Abstract
The book concentrates on gun control in the United States, but several entries examine the experience and firearms policies of other countries, including Israel, Switzerland, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Topics include court cases and judicial decisions regarding gun control, firearms and ammunition, firearms industry organizations, firearms researchers, government agencies and policies, individuals and groups supporting gun control, and individuals and groups supporting gun rights.
