This report describes how the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement used grant funds given to it under the Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Act.
Abstract
Funding from the Paul Coverdell Forensic Science Improvement Act was used by all of Louisiana’s Crime Labs to attain or maintain ASCLD/LAB accreditation. Various laboratories used the grant money to compensate employees for overtime hours worked in preparation of the assessment, provide professional development, and purchase lab equipment.
