GENERAL INTERROGATION TECHNIQUES ARE ENUMERATED. THE PROCEDURES IN APPROACHING A SUBJECT, METHODS OF DEVELOPING A CONTACT, DOCUMENT HANDLING AND IDENTIFICATION, AND LEGALITY OF ON-STREET DETENTION ARE EXPLAINED. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FIELD INTERVIEWS AND MIRANDA RIGHTS ARE COVERED.
