Abstract
THIS ALARM VERIFICATION SYSTEM PROVIDES A WAY TO DISTINGUISH AN ALARM TRIGGERED BY AN INTRUDER FROM A FALSE ALARM. THE RATIONALE FOR SYSTEM DESIGN CHOICES IS DISCUSSED AND THE PERFORMANCE OF KEY SYSTEM ELEMENTS IS PRESENTED.
