Abstract
THE INSTITUTION AND MANAGEMENT OF ORGANIZED CRIME CONTROL UNITS, INTERAGENCY COOPERATION, AND THE FEDERAL STRIKE FORCE CONCEPT WERE DISCUSSED. PROBLEMS RELATING TO OFFICIAL CORRUPTION AND INFILTRATION OF LEGITIMATE BUSINESS BY ORGANIZED CRIME WERE DESCRIBED. NEW IDEAS FOR INVESTIGATIVE AND PROSECUTION TECHNIQUES WERE ALSO SUGGESTED, AS WELL THE IMPLICATIONS OF RECENT LEGAL DEVELOPMENTS.
