Abstract
THE SCHEME LASTS FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS AND INVOLVES THE LOCAL BEAT OFFICER SUPPORTED BY OFFICERS REPRESENTING SPECIAL DEPARTMENTS SUCH AS UNDERWATER SEARCH UNIT, DOG HANDLERS, AND OTHERS TO CREATE A GREATER AWARENESS AMONG CHILDREN OF THE NEED FOR LAW AND ORDER IN SOCIETY WHILE CREATING A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL AND POLICE OFFICIALS. THE SCHOOL CURRICULA FOR PROGRAMS FOR GROUPS OF BOTH UNDER AND OVER 250 ARE OUTLINED.
