THE IMPORTANCE OF CAREFUL, PROFESSIONAL PLANNING PRIOR TO THE INSTALLATION OF SCHOOL SECURITY SYSTEMS IS STRESSED, SO THAT SECURITY CAN BE SUPPLIED IN A COST-EFFECTIVE MANNER.
Abstract
IT IS SAID THAT ONE MUST DETERMINE WHAT IS TO BE MONITORED BEFORE A CHOICE OF MONITORING EQUIPMENT IS TO BE MADE. FUTURE NEEDS MUST ALSO BE CONSIDERED. THREE CASE STUDIES ARE PRESENTED TO ILLUSTRATE HOW THE CHARACTERISTICS OF EACH SCHOOL SYSTEM MAY CALL FOR DIVERSE SECURITY MEASURES.
