Abstract
PROJECT GOALS ARE TO REDUCE RECIDIVISM BY FACILITATING THE OFFENDER'S READJUSTMENT TO SOCIETY THROUGH TRAINING, COUNSELING, REFERRALS, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION, LEGAL SERVICES, AND OTHER SERVICES. THIS DOCUMENT INCLUDES REPORTS FROM SEVERAL OAR OFFICES, AN EVALUATION OF THE OAR PROJECT BY A CONSULTING FIRM, AND NEWSPAPER CLIPPINGS.
