RESPONSES WERE ANALYZED WITH RESPECT TO THE FOLLOWING FACTORS; AGE; SEX; YEARS OF EXPERIENCE; EDUCATIONAL TRAINING; SPECIAL TRAINING; TYPE OF TRAINING DESIRED; CASELOAD; AND ACCEPTABLE CASELOAD. THE SURVEY ALSO SOLICITED INFORMATION ON THE OFFICERS' CRITERIA FOR RECOMMENDING PROBATION, INSTITUTIONALIZATION, PSYCHIATRIC EXAMINATION, AND DISCHARGE; AND THE RELATIVE IMPORTANCE OF CRITERIA FOR PRE-DISPOSITION REPORT. FINALLY, OFFICERS WERE ASKED TO STATE THEIR OPINIONS ON THE RIGHTS OF JUVENILES DURING COURT PROCEEDINGS.
