THE IDEA OF MODELING AS A SOCIAL LEARNING THEORY IS INTRODUCED. VICARIOUS BEHAVIOR INDUCTION (VBI), A SPECIALIZED FORM OF MODELING, IS DELINEATED, ALONG WITH A REVIEW OF RESEARCH IN THE AREA AND A DISCUSSION OF ITS APPLICATIONS.
