DISCUSSION OF THE STATE JUDICIAL COUNCIL OPERATIONS, INCLUDING RELATED DATA ON THE SUPREME COURT OF LOUISIANA, COURTS OF APPEAL, DISTRICT COURTS, AND CITY COURTS.
Abstract
PROGRESS IN THREE AREAS IS NOTED. FIRST, THE JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATOR'S MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (JAMIS) WAS IMPLEMENTED IN THE DISTRICT COURTS. THE OFFICE OF JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATOR IS WORKING ON THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A COMPUTER SYSTEM TO SERVE THE NEEDS OF A TYPICAL TRIAL COURT. THE THIRD AREA OF PROGRESS IS THE DESIGN OF A SYSTEM FOR REPORTING INFORMATION ABOUT CIVIL CASES ON APPEAL.
