THE PURPOSE OF THIS TELEPHONE SURVEY WAS TO ELICIT INFORMATION CONCERNING INTENSIVE SPECIAL PROBATION (ISP) FROM PROJECTS CURRENTLY OPERATING IN THE U.S.
Abstract
KEY AREAS ADDRESSED IN THE SURVEY INCLUDE PRIMARY PROJECT FOCUS, IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGIES, PROJECT RESOURCES, AND DATA AVAILABILITY. A TELEPHONE SURVEY INSTRUMENT WAS DEVELOPED RELATING TO THE TYPES OF INFORMATION SOUGHT: PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS, DEMOGRAPHIC DATA, AND EVALUATION MEASURES. FORTY-SIX OPERATIONAL ISP PROJECTS WERE EVENTUALLY LOCATED AND INTERVIEWED, WITH THE SURVEY RESULTS DISPLAYED ON AN ASSORTMENT OF CHARTS.
