THIS BOOKLET DESCRIBES THE PROGRAMS OPERATED BY THE OHIO ADULT PAROLE AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO PAROLEES AND PROBATIONERS STATEWIDE.
Abstract
THE STATE PROGRAMS INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL FURLOUGH, SPECIAL TREATMENT SERVICES, SHOCK PROBATION, SHOCK PAROLE, AND CRIME PREVENTION EDUCATION. FEDERALLY FUNDED PROGRAMS INCLUDE COMMUNITY REINTEGATION CENTERS, EXPANDED PROBATION DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT, HALFWAY HOUSE AND COMMUNITY SERVICES DEVELOPMENT, PAROLE OFFICER AIDES, MAN-TO-MAN AND WOMAN-TO-WOMAN VOLUNTEERS, AND COMMUNITY-BASED CORRECTIONAL CENTERS FOR WOMEN. EACH DESCRIPTION PROVIDES THE PURPOSE, STATUS (AS OF OCTOBER 1974), AND FUTURE POTENTIAL FOR THE PROGRAM BEING DISCUSSED....EB
