Abstract
THE SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS HAVE BEEN COMPILED FROM MANY DIFFERENT SOURCES TO ASSIST SENIOR CITIZENS IN DETERMINING THE NECESSARY STEPS FOR 'MINIMUM SECURITY,' WITH SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON TECHNIQUES WHICH REQUIRE THE LEAST EXPENSE AND EFFORT. 'MINIMUM SECURITY' IS DEFINED AS THE PREVENTION OF ENTRY INTO A RESIDENCE THROUGH ANY DOOR OR WINDOW, EXCEPT BY MEANS OF DESTRUCTIVE FORCE. IT ALSO MEANS THE 'MINIMUM' COMMON SENSE ACTIONS WHICH INDIVIDUALS SHOULD FORM AS HABITS FOR THEIR PERSONAL SECURITY. A 44-ITEM LIST OF REFERENCE AND SOURCE DOCUMENTS IF PROVIDED.
