REPORT HIGHLIGHTS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN JUVENILE CRIME AND THE DETERIORATION OF NEIGHBORHOODS.
Abstract
FOUR AREAS WERE STUDIED: THE FACT OF CRIME AND THE FEAR OF CRIME; THE COMMUNITY'S RESPONSE TO THE NEEDS OF ITS YOUTH; THE SCHOOL AS THE KEYSTONE TO DELINQUENCY PREVENTION; AND NEIGHBORHOOD REHABILITATION. UNDER FACT AND FEAR OF CRIME THERE ARE FOUR RECOMMENDATIONS; 20 RECOMMENDATIONS ARE INCLUDED IN THE COMMUNITY RESPONSE AREA. FOUR RECOMMENDATIONS ARE LISTED UNDER THE SCHOOL AS KEYSTONE, AND FOUR ARE LISTED UNDER NEIGHBORHOOD REHABILITATION.
