Abstract
THE PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS OF THIS PROJECT WERE DETERMINED AT TWO EVALUATIVE LEVELS: OVERALL PERFORMANCE OR SYSTEM REVIEW, WHICH WAS AN ATTEMPT TO MEASURE BY RECIDIVISM AND DELINQUENCY REDUCTION; PROGRAM REVIEW WHICH WAS BASED ON QUESTIONNAIRE RESPONSES BY THREE JUDGES AND FIVE PROBATION OFFICERS, EXAMINATION OF 44 CASE FILES (ONE YEAR PERIOD) OF THE CENTER, AND JUVENILE OFFENDER AND COMMITMENT STATISTICS. THE EVALUATOR CONCLUDES THAT EXCELLENT GOAL ATTAINMENT HAS BEEN ACHIEVED IN ALL AREAS OF THE PROGRAM WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE PROVISION OF TRAINING OF PROBATION OFFICERS AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE PERSONNEL.(AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED) ...TWH
