Abstract
THE PROJECT WAS RATED AS HAVING ABOVE AVERAGE ACHIEVEMENT WITH NO MAJOR INADEQUACIES, EXCEPT IN THE AREAS OF ACHIEVEMENT OF PROJECT GOALS WHERE IT WAS FOUND TO BE AVERAGE, AND IN DELIVERABLE PRODUCTS WHERE RATING WAS FOUND TO BE NOT APPLICABLE. ARGUS HOUSE IS AN ATTEMPT TO IMPROVE AND EXPAND COMMUNITY-BASED TREATMENT FACILITIES ON A LOCAL LEVEL. THE GROUP HOME ENVIRONMENT FOR ADJUDICATED YOUTHS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 14 AND 17 YEARS IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO INCARCERATION, PARTICULARLY FOR STATUS OFFENDERS.
