Abstract
FACTORS ARISING FROM THIS USE THAT ARE DISCUSSED IN THIS PAPER INCLUDE LEGAL ISSUES AND THE EXTENT TO WHICH THEY HAVE BEEN RESOLVED; PERCEPTUAL AND BEHAVIORAL ISSUES THAT HAVE BEEN RESEARCHED; AND EVIDENCE OF INCREASING ACCEPTANCE OF VIDEO TECHNOLOGY IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE. THE PAPER CONCLUDES THAT THE ULTIMATE APPLICATIONS OF VIDEO TECHNOLOGY WILL DEPEND ON CONSTITUTIONAL DECISIONS AND DECISIONS AS TO ITS MOST EFFECTIVE UTILIZATION. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
