Abstract
PAROLEE HOUSE PROVIDES AN OPPORTUNITY FOR A LINE PAROLE AGENT TO FUNCTION AS A CORRECTIONAL PROFESSIONAL, UTILIZING COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND KNOWN SOCIAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES TO EFFECTIVELY CURB DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR IN ONE SEGMENT OF HIS CASELOAD. IT BRINGS ABOUT CHANGE IN ATTITUDE AND SELF-IMAGE IN THE INVOLVED WARDS THAT IS RARELY POSSIBLE IN UTILIZING TRADITIONAL APPROACHES.
