Abstract
STATISTICAL DATA ON YOUNGSTERS WHO HAD BEEN PROSECUTED FOR THEIR CRIME AND OFFENDERS WHO HAD NOT BEEN SUBJECTED TO A TRIAL ARE CLASSIFIED ACCORDING TO THE NATURE OF THE CRIME, GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION, AGE, SEX, AND RECIDIVISM. SEPARATE STATISTICS OFFER INFORMATION ON CONVICTIONS AND OFFENSES THAT WERE NOT PROSECUTED. THE TYPES OF SENTENCES ARE DIVIDED ACCORDING TO THE NATURE OF THE CRIME, AGE OF THE CRIMINAL, DURATION OF THE SENTENCE, AND THE COURT HANDLING THE CASE. TABLES CHART (1) HOW VARIOUS TYPES OF CRIMES ARE DISTRIBUTED OVER AGE GROUPS, (2) THE GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION OF THE OFFENDERS ACCORDING TO THEIR AGE, (3) KINDS OF PUNISHMENT RECEIVED FOR DIFFERENT CRIMES, AND (4) THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SENTENCES GIVEN BY THE DIFFERENT COURTS IN THE COUNTRY. --IN DUTCH.
