TOPICS COVERED INCLUDE CRIMINAL JUSTICE, BASIC LAW, POLICE PROCEDURES, PATROL OPERATIONS, TRAFFIC CONTROL, INVESTIGATION, JUVENILE PROCEDURES, PROFICIENCY AREAS, AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS. EACH DATA SHEET CONTAINS FOURTEEN MAJOR INFORMATION BLOCKS COVERING SUCH ITEMS AS STUDENT READING ASSIGNMENTS, PRIMARY REFERENCES, SUPPLEMENTAL AUDIO-VISUAL RESOURCES, OBJECTIVES OF THE INSTRUCTIONAL UNIT, PERFORMANCE CRITERIA, INSTRUCTIONAL PLANNING NOTES, AND ANSWERS TO STUDY QUESTIONS.
