During this webinar, Yolonda Campbell, Attorney, U.S. Department of Justice, hosts a discussion with Brian Payne, Ph.D., Provost, Old Dominion University, and Mike Day, Detective, Vancouver Forensic Justice Center.
Dr. Payne has been studying elder abuse in the context of the legal system for more than 20 years, and he will talk about his research and share some facts.
Detective Day has extensive practical experience in responding to cases of elder abuse, and he will discuss how to assist other law enforcement officers in better understanding their role, what to look for when on a call, and what community resources are available for suspected cases of elder abuse.
