Announcing a new resource for serving Latina Youth In Prevention Programs: Mi Hermana's Keeper Toolkit.

This promising practice guide was developed based on a qualitative research study of the outcomes of the Family Keys Program, an OJJDP Best Practice Model created by Southwest Key to keep status offenders from becoming formally involved with the juvenile justice system.

Mi Hermana's Keeper Toolkit contains: a literature review of why system-involved Latina youth need support, 9 program and system-level recommendations, action steps for each recommendation, and targeted resources to support implementation.

Learning Objectives:
- Learn nine evidence-based recommendations for working with Latina youth

- Access a checklist of specific actions for staff to take at the individual, program and system-level

- Hear from voices of Latina youth, parents and staff about what works best
