FIRE AND SMOKE SENSORS ARE EXPLAINED AS WELL AS RADAR, ULTRASONIC, PHOTO-ELECTRIC, AND PERIMETER ALARM SYSTEMS. THE AUTHOR GIVES ATTENTION TO INSTALLATION DETAILS SUCH AS TYPICAL HOUSE CONSTRUCTION, CONCEALMENT OF WIRING, WIRING A CONTROL PANEL, AND INSTALLATION OF LOCKS AND PANIC BUTTONS.
