Annotation: Following a discussion of the incidence of parricide, changes in public perception and societal reaction to abused children who kill their parents are examined.
Abstract: Questions that have emerged from the author's review of the literature and research are listed. Research currently underway into adolescent murderers suggests that, to a large extent, society has a choice to perpetuate the problem of patricide and matricide or to contribute to its solution.
