Annotation: This annual report of the Onondaga County (New York) Probation Department includes organizational information, services to criminal courts, services to family courts, and additional information.
Abstract: The organizational chapter consists of personnel and operational information; statistical information for the period 1980-1989 is provided for department highlights and restitution collection. Services to criminal courts include the pre-trial release unit, investigations, supervision, special programs, and the conditional release program. Ten-year statistical data is provided on total number of defendants released, sentencing, court-ordered investigations, new and total cases supervised, DWIs, and violations of probation. Information on the intake unit, PINS adjustment services, investigations, and supervision comprises the section of services to family courts. A statistical overview is presented on PINS and delinquency complaints, family offense and support cases, total number of family court supervision cases, and violations of orders of disposition. The report concludes with additional information on probationers, drug and alcohol testing, recordkeeping, summaries, and plans and programs for 1990.
