Annotation: The monthly profile of Florida's detention facility population for September 1990 outlines average daily population, incarceration rates, overcrowding, and pretrial population levels.
Abstract: The tables and figures in the report categorize the figures into male and female categories for both adult and juvenile offenders. Further categorizations include felony, misdemeanor, and miscellaneous offenders. Within each of the first two categories, the figures are divided between inmates held for trial or sentencing and those held for probation violations. The miscellaneous subcategory includes parole violators, State inmates, illegal aliens, and individuals held under mental health or alcoholism statutes. The average daily population figures, incarceration rates for each county, number of overcrowded county detention facilities, and pretrial inmate levels are included in the report. 4 tables and 6 figures
