Annotation: This report tabulates statistics on the release of offenders from Wisconsin adult correctional institutions in 1989.
Abstract: Various aspects of the over 3000 releasees are calculated including their classification, disposition, convictions, average sentences served, and average length of stay since most recent admission. Prior releases into the community, racial and ethnic background of offenders released, participation in prison education programs, substance abuse, work release experience, and type of offense committed are other areas that are covered by these statistics. 24 tables
