Annotation: This report records the highlights of the Florida Parole Commission in fiscal year 1990-1991.
Abstract: The report summarizes the commissioners' workload and contains an organizational chart. The activities and programs of the departments of the Central Office are outlined; these departments include the Office of General Counsel, Director of Administrative Services, Director of Clemency Administration, Director of Parole Grant, and Director of Field Services/Revocation. The caseloads of the five regional offices are also described, and new legislation enacted in the 1991 session is outlined. The report contains a section concerning financial data including a statement of revenues and a balance sheet. The majority of the Commission's funding and staffing in 1990-1991 was dedicated to implementing the Control Release Program; the Commission issued warrants, held violation hearings, and revoked the releases of the most serious offenders.
