Annotation: This annual report presents data concerning crimes and arrests in New York State during 1992, as well as data reported through the National Uniform Crime Reporting program administered by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Abstract: The first section presents statistics on crimes reported in New York State, including violent crimes and property crimes. Statistics on arson and domestic violence are highlighted. The section on arrests tabulates statistics by offense, age, county, and race, as well as several other variables. The report also includes statistics on arrest processing and felony indictment processing. Separate sections discuss statistics on law enforcement personnel, outline legislative reporting mandates, and present contributing agency reports.
