Annotation: Statistical data covering activities of the Los Angeles Police Department for calendar year 1993 are submitted for offenses, adult and juvenile arrests, traffic accidents and enforcement, and department administration.
Abstract: Data on Part I offenses (homicide, forcible rape, aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, larceny, vehicle theft, and forged documents) and Part II offenses are tabulated. Arrest data are provided by location, date, age, sex, and offense type. Traffic accident data cover injuries, fatalities, and property damage. Administrative data on the Los Angeles Police Department concern telephone calls received, units dispatched, personnel, and equipment. Additional tables reflect offenses reported and cleared, stolen property, arrest dispositions by sex and offense, and adult and juvenile arrests by age and offense. Tables and figures
