Abstract: Each description includes the address, telephone number, geographic location, transportation access, security level, judicial district, rated capacity, current inmate population, staff complement, history, and housing characteristics. Also included is information on educational programs, vocational training, prison industries, number of inmates employed, medical and dental services, religious services, psychological status, and status of accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Corrections. The document also includes a history of the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a description of the functions of its central and regional offices, and a discussion of correctional personnel training programs and centers. List of new facilities under construction, addresses of community corrections offices, description of drug treatment programs, map, and organizational chart
