Annotation: This report annotates various Minnesota State laws pertaining to violence in schools.
Abstract: The topics of these excerpts from the Minnesota Statutes include the definition of dangerous weapon, gun-free and drug-free school zones, possession of dangerous weapons on school property, and reports of dangerous weapons incidents on school property. The laws contained here also pertain to trespass in a school building and on school property, use of force by or against teachers and other school officials, school harassment and violence policies, and violence prevention education programs.
