Annotation: This discussion of the legal status of crime victims in Hungary focuses on possible ways for modifying the current legal system with respect to victims.
Abstract: The article also describes the principles involved in better representing victims' interests. The authors include a university professor who is also the honorary president of a victim support organization, the head of the department at the Attorney General's Office, a Supreme Court judge, an official of the National Police, and the Assistant Attorney General of Budapest.
