Annotation: The 1994 annual statistics of Paraguay are presented in table and graphic format, including comparisons with statistics gathered from as far back as 1984 for some types of crime.
Abstract: Information is summarized on the judicial system in general, the Supreme Court, the National Penitentiary of Tacumbu, and the woman's correctional facilities. Data is also given for a rehabilitation, complaint, victim assistance, human rights, half- way programs, and conflict mediation programs; programs that report to the Ministry of Public Affairs. Additional information is given on other systems that include the national police, women's rights, and related statistical information about the country. Information is given by months, years, and annual by institution or State, depending upon the topic and available data. Findings are also given by crime type, age, and gender.
