Annotation: This report examines how 12 Federal agencies and their departments, branches, or divisions are working to address the problems associated with juvenile delinquency, with emphasis on specific agency policies and programs aimed at reducing or preventing juvenile crime and criminal behavior.
Abstract: The information is intended to help Federal, State, and local juvenile justice professionals enhance service delivery and coordination; identify areas for greater cooperation and collaboration; and access information and resources to prevent and reduce juvenile delinquency, crime, and violence. The report describes Federal agency goals and priorities related to preventing, intervening, or treating juvenile crime and delinquency. It also presents examples of Federal cooperation and collaboration aimed at addressing juvenile delinquency. In addition, it describes programs and initiatives that illustrate how each agency meets its goals. Appended program descriptions, agency contacts, and list of Federal agency clearinghouses
