Annotation:	This article describes the experience of statistical analyst Fran Ferrari, an employee of the Oklahoma Criminal Justice Resource Center, who was seriously injured by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building.

Abstract:	She describes her pain and disorientation immediately after being knocked from her chair by flying debris from the bomb, her rescue by coworkers, and her thoughts about her injuries as she was transported to the hospital. The various injuries that were diagnosed are described, along with the treatment that is still being provided. She received extensive surgery on her face and eyes. She still lives with a great deal of pain and goes to her office only 2 days a week, the same days that she also schedules her weekly doctors' appointments in Oklahoma City. She continues under the care of a retina specialist, a plastic surgeon, two eye doctors, an orthopedic surgeon, a dentist, and an ear doctor. She is able to do at least part of her normal work. Although not able to sit and analyze data for extended periods, she can make decisions and explain to coworkers how to do various tasks that she formerly did. Her coworkers have been a great help in assisting her in adapting her work to the physical limitations imposed by her injuries.
