Abstract: The report has three major sections. The section entitled "Criminal Justice Trend Data" presents data for crimes, arrests, arrest dispositions, adult probation, jail populations, criminal justice personnel, and expenditures for the most recent 10 years (1992-2001). The section entitled "Current Year Data" presents selected data in more detail for the current reporting year (2001). In this statewide report, current data are presented for the entire State and by county. Separate reports provide more detailed data for the county and for each contributing jurisdiction within the county. The Appendix section contains information on data characteristics and known limitations, a glossary of criminal justice terms, and a list of arrest offense codes that are included in the felony and misdemeanor arrest offense categories.
