Annotation: This guide provides new employees, volunteers and others with a detailed overview of the organizational structure of the Fairfax County, Virginia Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, its services, and its programs.
Abstract: The Guide to Court Services for the Fairfax County, Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court has four major sections and a glossary. The first major section describes the court’s structure and major functions and how the court interfaces with county and State organizations. The remaining sections provide up-to-date, detailed information about the three major divisions of court services: probation including juvenile intake services, attendance program, court-school educational programs, family counseling services, special services, interdisciplinary team, committed offender and parole services, and domestic relations services; residential services: juvenile detention center, less secure shelter, supervised release services, boys and girls probation house; and administration services: personnel administration, judicial support services, research and development, and information technology.
